Who is the Legacy Community?

The Ambios Legacy Community consists of users who:

• Held $PLANETS and associated wallets on the Algorand blockchain captured by the July 15th snapshot.
• Received $PLANETS from PlanetWatch license refund applications within the eligible timeframe.
• Were sensor owners who earned $PLANETS rewards from the July 15th snapshot to November 4th.

To facilitate the Legacy Community transition to the Ambios Network, we have established a comprehensive Migration Plan.

What is the Migration Plan?

The Migration Plan represents mechanisms to recognize and transform past contributions and holdings from the acquired Legacy Network (associated with PlanetWatch, $PLANETS tokens, and Algorand-based licenses) to the Ambios Network ecosystem on Solana.

This primarily entails:

• Token Conversion: Allowing eligible Legacy Community participants to convert their $PLANETS holdings into $AMBIOS tokens 40:1 using the Migration Tool.
• License Conversion: Automatically converting existing and non-expired PlanetWatch licenses (where applicable) into perpetual onboarding licenses for use within Ambios Network, removing the need for annual renewals. This covers various license types, including those associated with sensors, never-connected licenses, voucher-acquired licenses, and previously connected licenses with remaining runtime.
• Account Association: Providing a process for users to link their Legacy Community accounts and wallets to their new Ambios Network dashboard to manage their converted tokens and licenses.

In essence, the plan ensures a fair and structured transition for our foundational supporters, enabling them to seamlessly continue their journey with Ambios Network.
