General Staking Information

What does “Staking” mean? 

Staking is the process of locking up your tokens for a defined period in return for  earning extra yield, similar to earning interest with a savings account.  Staking help projects reduce circulating supply, ensuring the network runs smoothly and securely.

What are the benefits of staking? 

The primary benefits of staking include:

  • Earning passive income: Receive rewards on your staked assets.
  • Lowering the barrier to entry compared to mining: Staking does not require Ambios air quality sensors, only for you to own $AMBIOS tokens.

What are the risks associated with staking? 

While staking offers benefits, it also carries some risks:

  • Lock-up periods: Your staked assets will be locked for a specific duration, during which you cannot trade or access your tokens.
  • Price volatility: The value of the staked asset can fluctuate, potentially impacting the overall profitability of staking.

How do I start staking with your platform? 

To start staking, you will need to:

  • Create/select a Solana wallet with $AMBIOS tokens.
  • Open the StreamFlow Staking Pool.
  • Connect your Solana wallet
  • Stake your selected amount of $AMBIOS tokens for the desired duration

What is the minimum amount required to stake? 

There is no minimum staking amount.

How often are staking rewards distributed? 

Rewards are available for distribution daily. Participants must claim their token rewards by manually accessing the StreamFlow pool page and clicking on the “Claim Rewards” button.

Is there a lock-up period for my staked assets? 

Lock-up periods vary from 6-months to 1-year offering different returns.

How long does it take to unstake my assets? 

You can unstake your asset after the lock-up period .

How are staking rewards calculated? 

The staking reward rate is determined by the choice of the lock-up period depending on the specific pool: i.e. in this pool (link) you can decide to stake your tokens for a period between 6-months and 1-year. You can earn from 0.0008 $AMBIOS to 0.0016 $AMBIOS daily depending on the chosen duration period.

In the Stake Amount you have to insert the $AMBIOS amount of tokens you desire to stake and you can simulate the Multiplier Bonus moving the Duration bar pointer.

Can I access or trade my staked assets during the lock-up period? 

Your staked assets are locked in a smart contract and cannot be traded or accessed until the unstaking process is complete.

How secure is your staking platform? 

The Ambios staking service is provided by StreamFlow Finance, the leading Solana token distribution platform trusted by 5,000+ projects.
